5th Annual 9/11 Physics Debate The Association for Nine Eleven Truth Awareness (ANETA) hosts an annual “Physics of 9/11” debate in which
physicists or physics professors are invited to support the official story in a debate with a physicist or physics professor
from the 9/11 Truth Movement. In the 5th annual debate David Chandler was invited to represent the position challenging the
official story and (as has been the case each year so far) no one stepped forward to represent the official story. Hence
the “debate” becomes a discussion. The 5th annual “discussion” seen here focuses on the collapses
of WTC 7 and the North Tower.

Tower in comparison with the rate of freefall through air of heavy material nearby. (Acceleration + Serendipity is a more updated treatment of the same phenomenon.

The Terrorism Scam
This You-Tube video is a commentary piece about the virtual non-existence of a US terrorism threat. Yes, there is
such a thing as terrorism, but it is adequately covered under the heading “murder.” Making it a special class
of threat is an emotional appeal that induces fear and makes the population willing to give up civil liberties and even
violate human rights. In the case of terrorism, the cure is worse than the disease.
North Tower Exploding
This is an narration of a video clip of the North tower which focuses on explosive ejections progressing in waves
down the faces of the building. Among other things it is a response to theories that postulate causes for the collapse that
ignore the evidence that can be easily seen by anyone in the video footage itself. Observation is the foundation of science.
WTC7 in Freefall–No Longer Controversial
The previous analysis of the freefall acceleration was criticized (legitimately) for using a horizontal calibration
measurement for analyzing purely vertical motion. Any distortion or stretching of the video could throw off the measurement.
In this new video, the calibration utilizes NIST’s data for the heights of the roofline and the 29th floor to do a
vertical calibration. The result is a measurement even closer to idealized freefall: 9.88 m/s^2.
[Another video maker, “skeptic121” who wishes to remain anonymous, has posted
a similar measurement using a different video and using a different technique. It contains interesting comparison measurements from other collapses as well.]
WTC7: NIST Finally Admits Freefall (Part I)
In its draft report, released in August 2008, NIST attempted to cover up evidence that WTC7 fell at freefall, but
the coverup was transparent. In its final report, released in November 2008, NIST finally acknowledged freefall, but couched
it in a bizarre framework that continues to deny its clear significance. This illuminating video displays the brazenness
of the NIST WTC7 coverup. John Gross, one of the lead structural engineers for the NIST investigation, who figures in this
video, has established a reputation for lying and evading evidence. (Another example of John Gross’ evasive interaction with questioners on other a different key piece of evidence.)
NIST has removed the video of the press conference from their

WTC7: NIST Finally Admits Freefall (Part II)
This is not the “Part II” I had originally envisioned. That will have to wait for Part III. In following
up on the erroneous measurement described by John Gross in Part I, I decided to look more carefully at the measurement and
find the video frame NIST claims marks the beginning of the collapse. What I found is that there is no motion of the roofline
for at least 20-30 video frames after the point identified by John Gross. In other words, the measurement is a complete fabrication
with the goal of producing a “measurement” to agree with the result predicted by NIST’s collapse model.
This result is sufficiently significant to merit its own video.

WTC7: NIST Finally Admits Freefall (Part III)
Part III fully explores the implications of NIST’s admission that freefall occurred and critiques the foundations
of their “investigation.” In the end it calls for a new, independent, fully empowered, and open investigation.
[The WTC7 series has elicited a number of questions from people unclear on the details
of how I did the measurements, compared to how NIST did them and how the representatives of NIST described their measurements.
I have therefore created a WTC7 Measurement FAQ page. I will also use this FAQ as a place of reference for other questions that arise as well.]
Downward Acceleration of the North Tower
The roofline of WTC1 (The North Tower) begins dropping with sudden onset and accelerates uniformly downward at about
64% of the acceleration of gravity (g) until it disappears into the dust. This means it is meeting resistance equal to about
36% of its weight. The implication of this, however, is that the force it is exerting on the lower section of the building
is also only 36% of the weight of the falling section. This is much less than the force it would exert if it were at rest.
The acceleration data thus prove that the falling top section of the building cannot be responsible for the destruction
of the lower section of the building. The complete analysis of the phenomenon illustrated in this video is published in
a paper called Destruction of the World Trade Center North Tower and Fundamental Physics, Journal of 9/11 Studies, February 2010.

South Tower Smoking Guns
This video narrates a collection of diverse phenomena in the debris cloud of the South Tower that point to explosive
demolition. Particularly notable is one projectile (which I have not seen discussed previously) that is shooting to the
east, then stops, midair, then turns a sharp corner and shoots straight down trailing white smoke. White smoke is characteristic
of aluminum oxide which is a byproduct of the thermite reaction.
South Tower Smoking Guns (Follow-up)
After finding the projectile that turns a sharp corner while trailing white smoke (which I have dubbed the “Angle
Rocket”) I looked for it in other videos and found it in several. The clearest is from a camera with a very similar
perspective to the first, but in this video the trail can be followed to the bottom of the collapse. Here I explore the
significance of this find.
South Tower: Exploding Projectile
A close-up view of debris being ejected from the South Tower of the World Trade Center as the 30-floor top section
falls to the east shows numerous smoking projectiles that look like comets. Several of them can be seen to explode. One
such exploding projectile is followed here. It ejects two fragments, both of which undergo secondary explosions. (Note,
the rising fragment to the left of the projectile under consideration appears to be a tumbling object that alternates from
black to white to invisible. It passes behind one of the fragments described in the video.)
Cutter Charges in the North Tower of the World Trade Center
Small explosive ejections focused on a corner column of WTC1 (The North Tower of the World Trade Center) are evidence
of cutter charges used to cut the corner columns. One of these occurs at the 98th floor at the onset of the demolition of
the building. The other occurs lower in the building at the instant the column enters free fall.
Acceleration + Serendipity
This is a study of the overall downward acceleration of WTC1, the North Tower of the World Trade Center. During this
investigation it was discovered that the one feature that kept pace with the original acceleration of the roofline was a
wave of ejections on the west wall.
High Speed Massive Projectiles from the WTC on 9/11
I have revisited and extended some of my early measurements of high speed massive projectiles from the World Trade
Center on 9/11. The results for the three projectiles measured: 56 mi/hr, 45 mi/hr, and 78 mi/hr. I don’t claim this
is smoking-gun evidence of explosive demolition all by itself, but it is part of the puzzle and it is more compatible with
the explosive demolition hypothesis than simple gravitational collapse.
(On a technical note, if you are looking at the numbers in the three measurements, the third measurement is taken
while the video was zoomed in, relative to the calibration frame. The numbers shown have to be scaled down by a factor of
1.701 to give the stated results.)
WTC 7: Sound Evidence for Explosions
There is ample evidence, from both witnesses and recordings, of explosions associated with the destruction of World
Trade Center Building 7 (WTC 7). NIST sidestepped investigating explosions and explosives by setting up an artificially
high threshold of interest. They swept aside any testimony or recordings of explosions that would not register 130-140 dB
one kilometer away. They established this criterion using RDX (one of the loudest explosives) in a scenario that produced
a far higher sound level than other possible uses of explosives to bring down the building. Then they turned around and used
sound level as the sole criterion for deciding whether the use of explosives was a credible hypothesis. By this maneuver,
they sidestepped investigating testimony of explosives or possible evidence of explosive residues. This is just one more
instance of fraudulent behavior on the part of the NIST investigation of the World Trade Center disaster.
What a Gravity-Driven Demolition Looks Like
The official story is that the North Tower of the World Trade Center collapsed due to gravity. This has been critiqued
in an analysis by Graeme MacQueen and Tony Szamboti, and in a related analysis by David Chandler (both in the Journal of
9/11 Studies). The Balzac-Vitry demolition was a true gravity-driven collapse. The same analysis that was applied to the
World Trade Center is here applied to this known demolition, with contrasting results. This analysis supports the conclusions
of both papers referred to above: the North Tower of the World Trade Center was not a natural, gravity-driven collapse.
Rockets at the World Trade Center
Some of the debris from the South Tower at the World Trade Center shot downward faster than gravity. This is literal,
visible proof of explosive materials painted onto perimeter wall units.

Introduction and Summary
In
December 2017 the 9/11 Consensus Panel issued a statement addressing the controversy
within
the 9/11 Truth Community about what happened at the Pentagon. The concern was that
the disagreements
in this area threaten to undermine good will and mutual trust. The statement
offers the prescription,
“Contributions seeking to solve contentious issues can only be made
by assembling reliable
evidence and by applying critical thinking and peer review according
to the standard scientific
process. This is the strength of science and the way it has progressed
over centuries.”
and concludes, “In conclusion, we offer the “agree to differ” approach:
to
end an argument amicably while maintaining differences of opinion until there
is an explanation
that does justice to all the various types of evidence.”
Over about a three
year period Wayne Coste has been engaging in dialogue with some
of the leading contenders for
theories alternative to large plane impact and has been assembling
a comprehensive compilation
of the evidence that any successful theory must answer.
When he read the Consensus Panel’s
statement he saw it as a challenge that he had
largely already met. He pulled together his research
and assembled it as a single presentation
entitled, “Explanation of the Evidence at the
Pentagon on 9/11.” He re-framed this as
“Answering the 9/11 Consensus Panel Challenge.”
He turned the Powerpoint into a video,
with the downside that the running time was a virtually
unwatchable 5h 40m. He just wanted
to “get it out there.” I saw the tremendous value
of this body of work, so I stepped in and
offered to narrate the video as a more manageable
series of chapter-by-chapter videos.
The work is extensive, so the video series
is lengthy. To help navigate the scope of the
issue we have compiled a short video summary
of the primary findings. The summary is
keyed to the “chapters” of the video
series, so you will be able to easily navigate to the
sections of most interest if you don’t
want to invest the time to work through the whole
series all at once.

The focus of these videos is on the question, “What mechanism caused the damage at
the Pentagon on 9/11.” As Wayne says, “If you care enough to have an opinion about
what happened at the Pentagon, you should care enough to know what the evidence is
and what it shows.” Many discussions have focused on specific details in isolation, have
ignored or misrepresented vast amounts of evidence, or dismissed evidence on flimsy
grounds.
This kind of comprehensive treatment is important because an incomplete
understanding of the

Chapter 9: A Comprehensive Review of the Lloyd England Accident Scene

Lloyd England’s taxicab is evidence that the downing of the light poles was a real-time
event that could not have been staged ahead of time. This single piece of evidence therefore
discredits any theory that eliminates a large plane flying along the path of the downed light
poles. CIT responded by interviewing Lloyd England and accusing him of being an accomplice
to the staging of the scene based on supposed contradictions in his story. This section
examines
all the fragments of the first two light poles and determines which piece actually
hit the
taxi, providing in a factual basis for evaluating Lloyd England’s story.
Chapter 10: Analysis of the CITGO Security Cameras

One of the security camera videos that was released is the camera at the CITGO gas station,
between the Pentagon and the Navy Annex. The images are low resolution and taken at
one frame per second, but there is a single frame that captures the shadow
of the incoming
plane as it passes just to the south of the station.

Two closely spaced security cameras, recording at one frame per second, captured the
plane as it crossed the lawn. These images have been attacked by some as having been
Photoshopped to show the plane. This section evaluates the differences in the two videos
and
assesses their authenticity. The two videos were combined onto a single recording device,
so
the frames are necessarily staggered. Internal evidence is used to measure the time
lag between
the two sets of frames, and the resulting calibration is used to derive a measurement
of the
speed of the plane, independent of assumptions from any other sources. The
resulting speed measurement
is in good agreement with the radar and FDR data.
